Mission Provides a forum for members to focus on issues related to all areas of academic business librarianship, including research, collection development, reference, instruction, and service activities. Meetings and programs focus on practical and theoretical issues that concern business librarians in the college and university settings. Action Committees Research & Publishing The committee will identify and prioritize research topics in business librarianship that individual librarians can choose to research as part of their promotion and tenure requirements. Chair: Academic Business Librarianship Award The goal of this award is to encourage research & publication in the area of academic business librarianship. The committee will develop criteria, seek sponsorship, and review nominations.
Chair:
CUBL Membership Advise the Section Chair on membership and assist the Chair in facilitating CUBL membership activities; analyze and create strategies for enhancing and increasing member activity within CUBL. This committee will also be responsible for ensuring that a regular CUBL contribution appears in every Business & Finance Newsletter. Chair: CUBL Section Web Site The committee will seek and create content for the CUBL section web site as well as coordinate with the Business & Finance Webmaster to ensure the information is accurate and current.
